Match Report
Celtic continued their good form on Thursday night. Trim opened the scoring early on when Lee Dixon was fouled in the box and calmly dispatched the penalty himself. Dixon again got on the scoresheet with a superb diving header after some great play down the wing by Dan Mac Grianna. Parkceltic Summerhill came grew into the game and had a free kick which was acrobatically touched over the bar by Rob Westphal.
The home aide didn’t let up in the second half and pushed for the 3rd but the Summerhill keeper was superb on the night making a string of brilliant saves. Eventually Trim got a third through Ruairi Shortt’s brilliant strike from outside the box against his former team. The hoops didn’t stop there and were awarded a second penalty for handball and again Dixon slotted home to make it a very convincing 4-0 victory.
Best for Trim Celtic were Ruairi Shortt and Lee Dixon
