Match Report

Johnstown started better off the two sides but Celtic came into it midway through the half. Johnstown should have taken the lead but their striker clipped it over the with the goal open.
Celtic dominated most of the second half but Johnstown took the lead. Shortly afterwards Anthony Craig was fouled in the box but unfortunately for Celtic the resultant penalty was missed. Celtic kept up the pressure and were rewarded when Lee Dixon's superb cross to the back post foumd Dimmy Higgins who took it down and finished on the half volley. Trim had chances to win the match but it ended a draw. Best for Trim Celtic were Eddie Murray, Anthony Craig and Dimmy Higgins.
