Trim Celtic's Reserves opened their league campaign with a very impressive performance today at Tully Park. Some incisive passing and movement kept Ardee on the ropes for the 90 minutes. Dimmy Higgins scored a hattrick in the first 40 minutes while Craig Dempsey, Aaron Winters, Darragh Scannell and Dominic Fagan also hit the target. Best for Trim Celtic were Dominic Fagan, Dimmy Higgins and Scott O'Leary.
