Match Report

Trim Celtic 15 Premier side remain unbeaten after this away win against Parkvilla to make it 5 wins from 5. After a poor start in their last match, Celtic pressured the ball from the outset. The returning Joey Cole added more cover to a determined back 4 and stand in keeper Sean Tully looked like he played there for years.
The pressure finally took its toal after good work from Kris Gorman in the middle, Conor O’Hare chipped the ball over the top to setup Jared Akigbesote who finished at the second attempt. After some good work from Mc Cormack on the wing, Molloy delivered in a fantastic corner which fell to Kris Gorman whose shot cannoned off the post ti David Boyle who tapped home the second.. The game then got sloppy as both teams. As halftime approached, James Molloy found space on the left wing to cross with Akigbesote in hand to finish after a defensive error. Celtic started the second half on the attack. After a foul on Molloy 30 yards from goal Joey Cole stepped up with a superb free kick to make it 4-0. After some positional changes, Celtic kept possession much better and kept Parkvilla working hard on what was a warm sunny day. Any Parkvilla attacks were quickly cut out by the Celtic back four, particularly by the excellent Wes and Blake Gibbons. However, it was the another defender David Boyle that put through an excellent long ball to setup Akigbesote who found the top corner with a excellent volley to seal his first hat trick for Trim Celtic.
In the final minutes, Harry Cottrell broke forward and crossed for the waiting James Molloy who stayed calm to finish in style to make it 6-0 as Celtic continued their 100% record.
