A win for Trim Celtic would have seen them climb to the top of the table but victory for Muirhevna Mor saw them extend their lead at the summit. The home side made the most of the last minute switch to the Astro pitch and should have been ahead at the break but for the excellent Iain Telford in the Celtic goal. Brian Faulkner had The Trim side's best chance but he was fouled when one on one with the keeper.
The winning goal came early in the second half with Celtic unable to find a way back.
