The home side took the lead early on through Paddy Brophy with Jack O’Keeffe doubling their lead on ten minutes. Fintan Devlin bagged his first Trim Celtic goal before Duleek pulled a goal back from a free kick.
A straight red card saw Duleek reduced to ten men for the last half hour and they managed to grab another goal to make it 3-2. Celtic responded immediately with Aaron Williams restoring Trim’s two goal lead before Conor Walsh rounded up the scoring.
