Trim Celtic produced another stunning performance to maintain their perfect start to the season putting eight past ten Bellurgan Utd. The visitors could have taken the lead from the penalty spot but Celtic keeper Aaron Ryan came to the rescue saving the spot kick. Jack O’Keeffe opened the scoring before Brian Faulkner’s brace and a Colm Carney goal made it 4-0 at the break.
Bellurgan’s cause was made all the more difficult when they were reduced to ten men following a second yellow card for one of their players. Carney and Faulkner both completed their hat-tricks with Conor Walsh’s superb strike rounding up the scoring.
