The first half of this game was a tale of penalties with three awarded, two saved one of which was converted in the rebound and just one scored directly. Colm Carney was first up with the Bellurgan keeper saving well to his left but Carney reacted well to slot home the rebound. The visitors had a chance to equalise but Celtic keeper Aaron Ryan stood up call to save the kick. The third penalty of the first half went to the Trim side and this time Carney made no mistake and dipatched the ball to the keepers left. A cracking goal from Luke Mahon gave Celtic a three goal lead at the break.
