Match Report

Trim started well with early pressure almost leading to goals for Adrian Karbownik and Jack Conneely in the first five minutes. On seven minutes Trim got the opening goal as an Enfield defender deflected the ball into his own net from a corner. Enfield playing with the wind came back into the match with two goals both from corners , one on 12 minutes and one on 21 minutes. Trim had a goal disallowed for offside late in the first half and then managed to level the score just before half time with a goal from Jack Conneely after a strong run from Aaron O'Sullivan.
Playing with the wind in the second half, Trim dominated the game with Evan Collins scoring on 40 minutes with a header to put Trim in the lead. Trim had further opportunities to extend the lead with Dylan Hegney being unlucky not to score when he hit the bar and Aaron O'Sullivan missing a penalty. Trim wrapped up the game in the last few minutes with two late goals from Jack Conneely to give him his hattrick. Special thanks to Ben Ryan who played in goal in the absence of the team's regular goalkeeper.
