Match Report

Celtic returned after the summer break to face an Enfield side for the first part of a double header inside a week. Despite Celtic dominating the early exchanges they were to fall behind to a quick Enfield counter attack on thirty minutes and the home side took their advantage into the break. Celtic came out fighting in the second half and ten minutes in some good work in the box by Liam Reilly led to a chance for Cian Russell and he made no mistake from just inside the box planting the ball into the corner of the net. Ten minutes later a great delivery from an Andrew Gibney corner was met at the far post by Evan deCourcey Tobin to give the hoops the lead. This type of finish is becoming a trademark for Tobin who was last season's top scorer and is well on the way to repeating that feat this year. Next up is Enfield in the cup quarter final on Thursday. Trim Celtic:Kevin Dalton, Eoghan Lenehan, Andrew Gibney, Adam Wilson, Eoin Gaffney, James Murray, Oran Kirby, Liam Reilly, Evan deCourcey Tobin, Conor McGinley, Fionn McEvoy
