Match Report

Trim Celtic came up against Bohermeen Celtic who had only one defeat this season in the league which was against Trim Celtic in Tully Park. Revenge was on the opposition’s minds and they totally dominated the first 25 mins with Ryan Walsh tipping over the bar to keep Trim in the game. A complete turn around in the last 10 mins of the first half changed this game with Ben Clarke opening the scoring with a wonderful strike from outside the box and a minute later adding a 2nd after Simon Timi's effort was touched onto the bar by the Bohermeen keeper but Clarke was in the right place and put Celtic 2 up.
The 2nd half was a niggely affair with the Trim lads holding their discipline, doing the jersey proud and they were rewarded with a 3rd when James Gibney broke into the box and was taken down for a penalty which he took and converted himself on the insistence of his teammates. Bohermeen fought back and scored 2 quick goals from their pacy center forward who was excellent for his team. It was a tough last few minutes but all the lads stood up. Best fir Trim Celtic were Ben Darcy, Adam Gillen and Eamonn Yates drove on their team to 3 points
