Match Report
With one win a piece against each other this season this was always going to be a tight affair and it was league leaders Navan Cosmos who advanced to the Challenge Cup Final.
Chances were limited in the first half with the best 2 falling to Celtic captain Donohoe who headed wide before thumping a volley straight at the sprawling Alan Rogers.
The only goal of the game came within a minute of the restart when former Celtic player Lar Ivers seized on a defensive error to slot home. Cosmos managed to restrict Celtic's chances to some long range Donohoe free-kicks and at the other end Barry O'Callaghan had to make a smart left handed stop. There were to be no more clear cut chances and Celtic exited at the Semi-Final stage for the second time in three years.
