Match Report

Trim Celtic scorers: Aran Condren 2, Scott O'Leary 2, Nathan Costello
Trim Celtic took another step closer to the title with a comprehensive win in the MDL Grounds today against Bailieboro Celtic.
Still unbeaten in the league this season the Trim side started at a fantastic pace and were ahead after just 8 minutes with Nathan Costello finding the net. Bailieboro pulled a goal back to level things ten minutes later but Trim regrouped and responded with a flurry goals with Aran Condren netting in the 28th and 30th minutes followed by Costello's second in the 40th with Scott O'Leary adding a fifth 3 minutes before the break.
Bailieboro pulled a goal back straight from the restart and made it very difficult for the Hoops to increase their lead. The best moment of the second half came when Nathan Costello won possession at the corner flag before beating 3 players and setting up Scott O'Leary for his second and Trim Celtic's 6th on 65 minutes.
Ruari Shortt, Gerard Dwane, Jack Murray and Scott O'Leary were the stand out players from the starting line-up with Danny Morris impressing from the bench.
Trim Celtic: Nathan Sheridan, Matteus Costa, Ruairi Shortt, Gerard Dwane, Cormac Hunt, Jack Murray, Lee Corcoran, Connor Higgins, Scott O'Leary, Nathan Costello, Aran Condren.
Subs: Shane Gartland (for Costa, 50), Danny Morris (for Higgings, 60), Charlie Ennis (for Corcoran)
