Parkceltic took an early lead but Trim Celtic Warriors came back quickly with a Kris Gorman goal. Both teams battled hard against each other and the gale force wind but it was the home side that took the lead with a second goal 15 minutes before halftime. The Warriors came out strongly in the second half and with the brilliant foot work of Joey Cole and Jake O’Neill managed to find Kris Gorman again for his second goal. Parkceltic retook the lead when the Warriors defence failed to clear and the ball found the net again. The Warriors picked themselves back up and Gorman broke clear with a pass from harry Cottrell to find the net for the third time. Jake O’Neill had a last minute run down the right hand side but failed to get his shot off and game ended 3 all. Man of the Match was goalkeeper Henri Devine who made some excellent saves and faced a penalty which the home side failed to convert.
