Match Report

The Gunners continued their recent excellent form with a hard fought victory over their near neighbours Parkceltic Summerhill. Parkceltic started the brighter and took the lead after 10 minutes. The Gunners came back into the game and levelled through Aaron Mc Cormack after 22 minutes. The home side almost regained the lead 3 minutes later but for an excellent save by James Bourke, however on the stroke of half time they regained the lead. The Gunners re-grouped at half time and playing more as a team in the second half they equalised after 2 minutes following a great run and finish by Aaron Mc Cormack. The Gunners were on top now and on 47 minutes they added a third and decisive goal with a great lob by Ciaran Caulfield. Canice Donnelly almost added a 4th with a great volley from a corner near the end. Best for the Gunners were Dylan Smith and Wesley Gibbons in defence, Blake Gibbons in midfield and Aaron Mc Cormack up front.
