Trim Celtic started well.It was pretty even in the first half until Omp scored a brilliant goal leaving Jack Lord who was playing well no chance.A mistake at back just before half time left us trailing 2-0 at halftime.The wind picked up and left Trim facing an uphill battle.The final score was 6-0 which in no way reflected how close the 2 teams were.Lessons have been learned from this including the manager who rolled on and off far too many players and weakened the team at times.On a positive note 3 new debuts were given today and were good debuts Especially the Doherty twins in defence and Midfield.Also Cathal Diedricks and Conor Crinion were outstanding for Trim today.
