Match Report

The hoops bounced back from their heavy defeat against Kells to record an away draw against last season's runners ups in Cavan. It could have been even better for Celtic as an early chance from Oran Kirby went agonisingly inches wide after he brilliantly lobbed the 'keeper. With Celtic enjoying plenty of possession it was only a lack of a cutting edge up front that kept Kingscourt in the game. Late on, a great run and shot from Daniel Coleman nearly won the game as his powerful shot was well held by the 'keeper. A draw was probably a fair result though as the home side had a couple of good chances also and the result did neither team any favours at the wrong end of the table. Best for Celtic were Oran Kirby and Kevin Dalton.
