Match Report

The game started off slowly with no teams troubling each other too much. Trim were moving the ball well and piling on pressure towards the end of the half but after a miscommunication at the back the Kentstown striker got in and punished the mistake to make it 1-0 at the break. The second half started at a quick pace with Celtic playing wellthey just couldn't find the ball through to the strikers enough. They did have a chance with Cael Roe straight through on goal but he couldn't find a way by the Rovers keeper. Trim found themselves 2-0 after a well worked Kentstown goal that cut the defence open and the striker finished well. Trim pulled a goal back after a good delivery from Sean Foley from a corner with Justin Barbu getting his head on it to make it 2-1. Kentstown were awarded a penalty after the striker was brought down in the box with Peter Brennan making a good save to keep it at 2-1. With 5 minutes to go Kentstown made it 3-1 with another good finish.
