Match Report

There was a good turnout for the first away game of the season at the new Navan Town pitch at the Bawn. The first half was reasonably even with Celtic going in just a goal down at half time. However, after conceding another goal early in the second half, the team then fell away in the final 15 minutes with injuries to both Tomas Gallagher and Josh Cosgrove leaving gaps in the defensive line up. The Trim boys did not give up and got a late consolation goal - an own goal after good pressure from Jack Conneeley and Jack Henry.
Trim Celtic: Conor Crinion, Conor Byrne, Tomas Gallagher, Tom Boran, Jamie Callaghan, Dylan Guiheen, Jack Cleary, Jack Conneeley, Daniel Conway, Padraig Mallon, Evan McCormack
Subs: AJ Harvey (for Callaghan), Jack Henry (for Mallon), Cathal Diedericks (for Conway), Finn Mahon (for McCormack), Josh Cosgrove (for Byrne)
