Trim Celtic Green dominated possession for vast periods of this game but found Kingscourt very well organised and struggled to create clear scoring opportunities and finished at the break honours even, 0-0. In the second half Trim continued to push and created many good goalscoring opportunities but to no avail. With minutes remaining and the match looking as it was heading for a draw, Kingscourt scored from a near post corner, which defensively Trim will be very disappointed with.
