Trim Celtic continued their 100% start to 2016 with a comprehensive victory over 9 man Dromin Utd following victory over Kentstown Rovers on Thursday. Playing with a strong wind in the first half Celtic raced into a two goal lead with Brian Faulkner netting his 20th and 21st of the season. The hosts were reduced to ten men following an altercation and Celtic took full advantage with Faulkner bagging his hat tick before the break. Despite their numeric disadvantage Dromin started the second half well and took advantage of a defensive error to pull a goal back. However five minutes later their comeback hopes were dealt a fatal blow when Faulkner was pulled down by the keeper in the box receiving a red card for the offence. Paul Campbell slotted away the resulting penalty with Declan Dowling, Aaron Ryan and substitute Derek Donoho adding further goals before a second Campbell penalty rounded off the scoring. Another positive on the day was the return to action of Paul Munnelly after a long injury lay off.
