A World Cup tournament will take place on the Porchfields next Saturday as part of the Swift Festival for under 8 and under 9s.
Players please assemble at the festival entrance off the ring road at 12:45PM. White socks and shorts required.
Matches will start at 1PM sharp with George Hook presenting the medals at 4PM. More information on the Trim Swift Festival, click here.

The Sevens club will be holding their annual 5K walk in the town on Sunday 15th November at 2pm. The boys and girls of the club are busy collecting sponsorship for the walk. We are requesting that all members and supporters of the club would “dig deep” to support the Sevens children.

We also encourage everyone to become involved in the walk, as it promotes the club, gives you a little physical exercise, but most of all is great fun!

Over one hundred and twenty children in the Sevens section of the club assembled in Tully Park on 29th August for a a fun filled day of soccer. There was also great support from their parents and other family members to make it a very enjoyable day.

Special thanks to Mark and Linda Leavy who supported the club in providing refreshments for the participants. The club house was looking very well after the facelift that it received with the co-operation of all sections of the club.

The managers of the Sevens and the ladies team again went head to head in a very entertaining challange match.

Many thanks to the organisers of the Blitz, and particularly to the children who provided a great day of entertainment.

The first summer camp organized by the Sevens club was a great success this week. A big turn out by the children, along with summer sunshine and Tully Park pitches at their best were all ingredients for a super camp. As you can see from the photo’s a great time was had by all. Can’t wait until next year….

On April 11th the Swifts Under 8s got to the semi-final of the Futsal competition for Under 9s.

A large gathering of players and their families attended Trim Castle Hotel on 19th April for the annual presentation of Certificates and medals. A total of 19 teams and a large contingent from the Fun club were present. All players were honoured for their participation in the season by a packed audience of over 400 people.

This year we bid farewell to the under 10 players from the Falcons, Knights, Pumas, and Rovers. These players will advance to competitive football with the Schoolboy section of the club. We wish them the very best in their new teams for next season.

The Seven’s annual Presentation Day will take place next Sunday 19th April at 2PM in Trim Castle Hotel. This includes players from the Under 8, Under 9, Under 10 teams and also girls playing in the Under 9, Under 11 and Under 13 teams. Please wear club tracksuits if possible and arrive early to be seated for a prompt start. Refreshments will be available but the event has been designated alcohol free.

The boys and girls of the Sevens with parents and friends braved the elements last Sunday to complete the 2nd annual sponsored 5K walk. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making the event such a success including the local Garda and the Civil Defense.
