Trim Celtic Seven’s 5km Sponsored Walk

Trim Celtic Seven’s will be holding their annual 5K sponsored walk on Sunday 13th November at 1.30pm.

The meeting point will be at Trim Castle (opposite the Garda Stn) at 1.15pm. The walk will be around the town on a 5K circuit.

Children will be supervised by parents, team manager’s and club personnel. Assistance will also be provided by the civil defence and the Gardai.

This will be the only fundraising event that the seven’s will be running and all parent’s and friends are encouraged to make every effort to attend.

Upcoming Code Of Ethic’s Workshop’s

The Meath Local Sport’s Partnership (MLSP) are running two code of ethic’s workshop’s in October..

It is Trim Celtic’s policy that all adult’s who are involved with any team that have children playing in it, must have attended this course.. Please remember that a child is anybody who is under the age of 18

Athletic Development Workshop 23rd Sept

We are delighted to welcome the experts from Athletic Development to come to and give one of their Workshops

The Workshops is been run in the MDL this Friday 23rd of September 7-10pm

All Managers/coaches/assistants/senior players are invited to this workshop

Please make the effort as everybody who attends will get something from it. Our 14P team will be perfroming the practical drills.

With the good weather we having been having lately please come prepared as most of the workshop will be outdoors

• Long term athlete development

Attending coaches will:

• Gain a clear understanding of the need/process of athlete development

• Be encouraged to shape their workshop through constant interaction, meeting their individual educational needs

Seniors/Ladies Presentation night – Friday 18th

The Seniors and Ladies had their presentation night in the Malt house on Friday 18th June. Thanks to the Malt House for the use of the Lounge. Special thanks to the Barry and Mc Evoy families, Rose and Ciaran Gaughran, Christy Ginnerty, Ray Butler, Eugene Lynch (MDL), First and Second team Managers, Des Clancy for cutting his holidays short to be there, and last but not least to Robert Bradly who hosted the evening.

There was great support for the evening by past players, players, friends and club Management.

All present on the night were brought down memory lane with the presentation of the Brody, Barry, Clancy cups.

Well done to everyone who received presentations on the night, including Hall of Fame, Clubman of the year, Player of the year, top goal scorer of the season, and a special presentation to Rose Cullen for her had work and dedication as Child welfare officer for over eight years.
