The Drogheda League U14 ETP girls team played another friendly against the U13A Schoolboys last Saturday in St. Patrick’s School, Navan.
There were plenty of goals with the boys running out as comfortable winners.

The Schoolboys Under 12B played in a challenge match against a Girls Under 14 ETP team representing the Drogheda League in Navan last Sunday.
The girls squad consisted of 9 Trim Celtic players. It was the girls first game together after several weeks of intensive training.
The match was played in good spirits with the older girls ending up as comfortable winners on the day.

The Diamonds maintained their winning run with a superb performance away to Dundalk in the Drogheda league.
Trim played with purpose from the start and took full advantage of the space available in Oriel Park (Dundalk’s Airtricity league stadium).
Best for Trim on the day and in goal scoring form were Cliondna Moore, Dervla Fahey, Roisin Milner, Sarah Lynch and Emma Chamberlain.
Trim stay 2nd in the league 3 points behind leaders Quay Celtic and open up a 10 point gap on St. Ultans in 3rd.

An excellent performance from the U14 Girls resulted in their biggest win of the season away at Walshestown and keeps the pressure on the leaders Quay Celtic in the DCSL league.
Trim attacked from the start with Hannah Clancy producing a fine first half display and very nearly being rewarded with a goal. The game and points were secured thanks to some precise finishing. The scorers were Sarah Lynch (3), Emma Chamberlain (2), Amy Troy and captain Dervla Fahey whose volley was the goal of the game.

Trim had a comfortable win after dominating the match at the MDL. Everyone played their part in a superb team display.
The opening goal was scored by Emma Chamberlain after being put through by Cliodhna Moore. Emma added another before the break with Zara Sheridan providing the cross and in the process ending up on the floor from an accidental clash with the Dundalk defender
Trim continued to press in the 2nd half and it wasn’t long before Zara scored herself from a run down the right hand side with a powerful shot off the inside of the post. Zara had to come off with injury and was replaced by super sub Dearbhla Moore who scored within a few minutes of being on the pitch. Dearbhla slotted home her 2nd through a crowded penalty area to complete the 4-0 scoreline.

Trim Celtic Seven’s 5km Sponsored Walk

Trim Celtic Seven’s will be holding their annual 5K sponsored walk on Sunday 13th November at 1.30pm.

The meeting point will be at Trim Castle (opposite the Garda Stn) at 1.15pm. The walk will be around the town on a 5K circuit.

Children will be supervised by parents, team manager’s and club personnel. Assistance will also be provided by the civil defence and the Gardai.

This will be the only fundraising event that the seven’s will be running and all parent’s and friends are encouraged to make every effort to attend.
