NECSL 14 Premier Shield Final
Trim Celtic 2-0 Athboy Celtic
Trim Celtic secured the u14 NECSL Premier Shield with a 2-0 win against Athboy in the MDL. Trim started like a train and were a goal up after a minute with Charlie Molloy finishing off a flowing move. Within seconds of the tip-off Trim had the ball in the net again this time through the cultured foot of James Foley. Trim continued to dominated the exchanges for the remainder of the half with their trademark work ethic and passing football.

A similar pattern emerged in the second half with Trim continuing to lay siege on the Athboy goal, who were dangerous on the break but rarely threatening the Trim goal.

A great squad effort on the day meant this Trim team have completed a fantastic set of achievements:
– Premier League Winners
– Premier Cup Winners
– Premier Shield Winners
– SFAI North Leinster semi-finalists
– SFAI Round of 32
– Unbeaten all year
