Trim Celtic White 1-4 Trim Celtic Green
Today another batch of Celtic stars of the future played their first ever competitive ever. While we probably bemoaned the drawing of the teams together for the first round when the balls were drawn from the hat it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as in their first outing since the passing of coach George Rogers the boys got to stand together to honour him with a minutes silence before kick off. The Green team came out on top with goals from Aaron O’Rourke, Adam Curran, Daniel Murray and Kyle Ennis with Thomas Mooney on target for the Whites. As soon as the final whistle went the players walked off together no matter what jersey they were wearing. Well done boys we hope you enjoyed the game.
Huge credit for bringing these boys from being football novices to their first competitive game to coaches Seรกn, Paul M, Paul F, Lucas and of course George who would have been so proud.
