Weekend Preview
It’s a big weekend for our two 11 Boys teams who play their first competitive matches in Saturday in the Colm Cooper Cup, a Cup Trim Celtic have won for the last two years. The Red team travel to Robinstown for a 10:00am kick off while the Green team welcome Bohermeen Celtic to the MDL at 11:35am. Best of luck to all involved.
The rest of the weekend action all takes place at the MDL and kicks off tonight as the 12 Division 2 Boys play Parkceltic Summerhill at 6:00pm.
There are 2 other games at 11:35 at the MDL on Saturday morning. The 14 Premier Boys play a Bailieboro side who were defeated 2-1 in their last meeting while the 16 Premier Boys face strong opposition in second placed Parkvilla.
At 3pm the Reserve team play second placed Kingscourt Harps at the MDL. A win for John Kelly’s men will see them go level with their visitors. Celtic won 4-0 in the last meeting between the sides at Mount St. Joseph.
On Sunday the First Team will be hoping to avenge their defeat to Rock Celtic earlier in the season when the Seasiders visit the MDL at 11:15.
At 12:35 the 16 Girls face Parkvilla at the MDL. The Trim Celtic girls currently lie second in the table.
Finally at 1pm it’s Celtic vs Rangers as the 18 Girls welcome Terenure Rangers to the MDL. The Trim girls win 1-0 in the last meeting of the sides in October.
