The U13 boys team, managed by Dan Fox, Joe Somerville and Martin Costello traveled to Dundee last week for friendly games with Dundee, Scottish ETP, and Fife. They also went to see Glasgow Celtic play Dundee United last Saturday in Park Head. The boys parents undertook massive fund raising events with sales of works and a monster Raffel to finance the trip. The boys played Dundee United U13 squad and won easily with a 4 – 1 scoreline. Next up was a tour of  Tannadice, Dundee’s home grounds, followed by a game with Socttish Emerging Talent Squad, which resulted in a 6 – 1 vistory for Trim. Sunday presented a tough game with Fife ETP squad, which resulted in a 5 – 4 score line to Fife.
It was a great achievement for the players to have such success and a tribute to the lads for representing Trim Celtic in Scotland.
On behalf of management, parents and players we want to thank all friends of Trim Celtic who supported the fundraising effort to make the trip possible.
Finally a big thank you to Wilo Flood and Sean Dillon from Dundee who were perfect hosts and made everyone very welcome for the duration of the trip.
