Trim Celtic U14 girl’s travelled to Oriel Park to take on Dundalk FC on Saturday 3rd March. This was the third time that these teams met in the league, and the Trim girl’s have comfortable wins in the previous two games.

Trim got off to a slow start in a very even sided game. Five minutes before half time Trim girls made the breakthrough with a strong shot from Zara Sheridan, which found the back of the net.

The second half saw Trim take control with goals from Emma Chamberlain, Sarah Lynch and Cliodhna Moore. The Trim side had many chances in the second half only to de denied by some super saves from Dundalk’s goal keeper, Nicki Dullaghan. This win sees Trim girls one point off the top of the DCSL league table.

Their next game is in Tully Park on Saturday 10th of March against St Ultan’s.
