Wednesday 28th December saw a large crowd gather in Tully Park for the annual Terry Scanlon Memorial game. Ex Trim Celtic players, who have long since hung up their boots took to the pitch to honour the memory of a true club member – Terry Scanlon. The Malt House Geriatrics, managed by Ciaran Gaughran, assisted by Des Clancy and captained by Eric Scanlon, were clear winners with an impressive 6 – 2 score line. The Priory Inn Pensioners, managed by Christy Ginnerty assisted by Jody Kelly and captained by Mark Scanlon put up a brave fight right up to the final whistle. Half time entertainment was provided by the U12 school boy team, managed by Dan Fox and Martin Costello. Post match refreshments were enjoyed in the Priory Inn, where several individuals were singled out with presentations for their contribution on the day.
