Despite the bad weather conditions the Trim Celtic U12 representative squad gave a good account of themselves at Albions Rovers grounds on Saturday. The first game saw the Trim side take an easy win against Albion Rovers side with a 4 – 0 score line. They then faced a tough Shelborne side which ended in a 1 – 1 draw. Next up was Rush FC who gave a good account of themselves, but were not strong enough for the Trim side, which ended up 2 – 1 for Trim Celtic. The rain persisted for the last game against Corduff, and the Trim side ended up comfortable winners with a 6 – 0 score line. Trim Squad was managerd by Dan Fox and Martin Costello. Players for Trim were, Harry Hogan (keeper), Ian Fox, Luke Mahon, Padraic Costello, Adam Corcoran, Joey Somerville, Dominic Peppard, Cian Lee, calum Pottinger, Mark Hatton, Aaron Lynch and Oisin Devlin.
Looking forward to the second leg of the competition which will be played in late August.
