Trim Celtic picked up a valuable 3 point in Dundalk on Friday night with a win against Glenmuir. While Glenmuir’s leagues form is not great, a Friday night victory in Dundalk is always a result to be proud of and with Glenmuir looking revitalized after the appointment of a new manager Trim will be happy to put another 3 points on the board away from home. Trim Celtic started slowly and were punished for some sloppy defending after 10 mins when the unmarked Glenmuir centre forward finished with ease from just inside the box. Trim found chances hard to come by but on the stroke of half time Scott McGowan got the equalizer with an excellent strike after good work by Jason Hand to win the ball in the middle of the park. The second half was a totally different game and Trim finally decided to come out and play some football. Trims second came courtesy of a Paul Campbell header and after that Trim had numerous chances to finish off the game. With 15mins remaining Derek Donohoe sealed the win when he rounded the Glenmuir keeper stylishly to score Trims 3rd.
