A great win for the reserve side on Saturday with a 1-0 win at home to Duleek. This win puts a Hugh dent in Duleeks quest for league honors and the Reserve side now find themselves on a nice winning streak. Again Tony McDonnell was in magnificent form in goal. Richie Fitzsimons and David Campbell marsheled the defence well all day. Dimmy Higgins and Stephen Jones pulled all the strings in the middle of the park and it was Dimmy Higgins’s skill and ability to run at the Duleek defence which paved the way for this great team performance. The winning goal was scored in the second half by Ross Cambell after good work from Ronan Hayes. Nigel Kennedy came off the bench and almost got Trims second with 15mins remaining but Trim held out comfortably for a well deserved victory.
