Trim Celtic saw 3 points slip away from them in Clancy Park when they twice lost the lead in this league fixture. David Conway opened the scoring when his powerful header from a Paul Campbell corner kick flew into the back of the net. With Trim in control they wasted a number of opportunities to double their advantage and Quay got back into the game when after a game of head tennis in the Trim penalty area the ball was tamely headed across the line. Trim regained the lead when Mark Gilsenan won a good ball and fed Paul Campbell who finished well with his left foot from outside the box. The second half saw Quay push for an equalizer and indeed Trim push for a 3rd. Despite 7 second half corners and a few good chances Trim will be disappointed with their 2nd half display. Quay punished Trim with 15mins remaining when they tied the game at 2-2. Quay looked happy to settle for a point and on a number of occasions slowed the game down but the winning goal game right at the end and Trim will feel a little unlucky to have conceded it. Keith Jones made a magnificent last ditch tackle in his own penalty area only for the ball to fall kindly to the Quay centre forward who made no mistake from 3yards out. Trim will have to dust themselves down and get ready for a big test next Sunday in the 3rd round of the Challenge Cup against Division 1 runaway leaders Dromin Utd.
