Trim Celtic lost out in the 5th round of this cup away to Clonmel Town on Sunday. In a competition which started out with over 700 teams it was a great achievement to reach the last 64. Trim can not really have any complaints about losing although the score line does not really reflect the gallant effort put up by the Trim men. Trim found themselves one down at half time and only for a superb save by the Conmel Keeper to deny young Scott McGowan a second half equalizer who knows what way the game might have gone. The Club would like to thank Clonmel for their hospitality and the Moldron Hotel in Portlaoise. Again Donnie Quinn deserves a big mention for his help with the transportation  and for all he does for Trim Celtic. All the supporters who made the long journey and indeed the Team itself did Trim proud. Next up Rock Celtic on Wednesday the 26th at 8pm ko

Next Reserve team game is at home to Square on Saturday the 29/1/11 at 2.30
