A 5 star performance from Trim Celtic with Derek Donohoe finding the net 4 times. Trim started brightly and with only 15mins gone a superb cross by Mark McCormack was met by Derek Donohoe who gave Trim an early lead. 5 mins later good work from Aaron Newman down the right and another good delivery was again turned in by Donohoe with a superb header. The second half saw Trim dominate all areas of the pitch and the 3rd goal was added by David Conway after more good work from Aaron Newman on the right. At the other end Trims keeper Barry O’Callaghan had to make a fine save from a well taken free kick. Donohoe then added his 3rd and 4th to finish off the game and give Trim Celtic all 3 points. Trim could have added more with Mark McCormack denied by a good save from the Clones keeper and then the woodwork denied Stephen Farrell. Clones did pull a goal back with the last kick of the game from the penalty spot.
