On the weekend of the first round of the S.F.A.I. Cups, we only had two home games in which there where mixed results with the U15B’S securingthe first win of the weekend defeating Slane 2-1 meanwhile the U14A team in their first competitive game of the season went down 4-0 to St Columbans of the N.D.S.L.

The other games on Saturday also had mixed results with John Kellys U12B team having their first win of the campaign with a comprehensive 10-2 win against donacarney from the Drogheda league. Our U13b had a disappointing result away to a strong Quay Celtic of the Dundalk Schoolboy league coming out on the wrong end of 7-1 scoreline 

We had four games on the Sunday all away, both the U11 teams were up against strong N.D.S.L teams with the A team losing out on a scoreline of 7-2 with the B team on the wrong end of  a 2-0 result

There were better results from the U12A  and Ron Metcalfe’s U15A team. John Sweeney’s U12A team won out 4-3 after an exciting game against highly fancied Skerries Town with our U15A team winning 6-1 against St Ita’s, both opposition from the N.D.S.L.

After the weekend’s games we have four team’s progressing to the next rounds of the S.F.A.I. Cups, well done to all involved
