The Club Ladies suffered two more setbacks in the field recently when they lost in successive league outings against Albion Rovers & Shelbourne. On both occasions they lost 0-3.

On Monday night last week the travelled to play Albion Rovers at Walshestown in Co. Louth & were well in contention until keeper Susan Clancy suffered a bad arm injury, which resulted in her having to leave the field. Aishling Callan replaced her between the posts. Centre back Louise Hayes was then forced off through injury & despite a brave effort all round they were unable to keep Albion at bay. The home side scored once before the break & hit two more in the second half. Before her departure, keeper Clancy had impressed as did Niamh Holmes & Michelle Nugent. Celtic won the corresponding home game (3-1) earlier in the season.

On Tuesday it was revealed that keeper Clancy had actually suffered a broken arm & will miss the rest of the campaign.
