Congratulations are due to Club member Mark Scanlon who was recently appointed to fill the role of Meath Development Officer, a full time position with the FAI. Mark will be responsible for the development of the game at all levels in Co. Meath & will report to the FAI’s Technical Director Packie Bonner.

Mark is a qualified coach, the holder of a¬†EUFA ‘B’ badge & this represents a dream come true for a true ‘football fanatic’.

Everyone at the Club wishes him well in his duties. ‘We look forward to working with Mark in the promotion of the game locally & especially in the Trim area. Trim Celtic is committed to the further development of the game in this area & Mark’s appointment is viewed as huge boost for us’ -Club Secretary Des Clancy. ‘He has been prominently involved in coaching within the Schoolboy section of the Club & has served as a member of the Committee also. He has made a significant contribution to the affairs of the Club in recent years.’

Mark has stepped down from all official duties within the Club but will continue to play for the Club’s Senior teams in the Meath & District League.
