The Club’s annual Schoolboy Presentation Function took place earlier this evening in the Castle Arch Hotel before a packed crowd & the highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Noel Dempsey Cup to the overall Schoolboy Player of the Year Rory McEntee. Minister Noel Dempsey was present to present his cup & he paid generous tribute to the Club & the efforts of all its officials for many years.

The Special Merit Schoolboy Award went to Michael Lydon & was presented by Cllr. Ray Butler, Chairman of Trim Town Council who also paid tribute to the role of the Club in the community.
The John O’Toole Cup for U16 Player of the Year was presented to Nigel Kennedy by Mena Kelly, sister if the late John O’Toole, former player, Committee Member & Team Manager with the Club.
A special presentation was made to former players David O’Connor & Colm Smith who have both played & scored in National finals in the last twelve months.
This was a wonderful occasion for all concerned with the Club Schoolboys & congratulations are due to John Marron, Nick Nally, Des FitzGerald, Mark Scanlon & the other Committee Members whose preparations guaranteed a packed house on the night.
