The Club U14s dropped three more points in their League run in this evening away to Athboy when they lost out by the odd goal in seven to their hosts. This result means that retention of the league title held by Nick Nally’s boys over the last two seasons is now most unlikely with only five games to play.Robert Sweeney gave Celtic the lead from the penalty spot only for Athboy to strike back twice. Donal Callan equalised to leave the scores level at the break. Athboy hit two more goals in the second half to draw clear but Celtic fought back to score again through Gavin Meehan but they were unable to find an equaliser. This was a very poor overall performance.
