The Club Reserves lost by the odd goal in three this afternoon at Tully Parl to visitors Duleek in their MDL Premier Reserve match, a result which effectively means that it will be very difficult for them to contest top spot in the league.

Despite a very impressive start which culminated in Matthew Sconlan finding the net to give Celtic the kead after 25 minutes (pictured), it was really all downhill after thet especially after the break. Duleek hit their equaliser lates in the first half & they scored the only goal of the second period to take all three points.

It now looks like retention of the MDL Reserve Cup is the only realistic target this season for the Reservesin the hunt for honours.
