Serious Injury for Tim Clancy
Former Celtic player Tim Clancy suffered a serious injury last Saturday afternoon during Kilmarnock’s SPL game against Gretna at Rugby Park. This follows a seven week absence as a result of a hip injury he incurred last September. His season started late because of a knee cartilage operation last summer & he also missed out as a result of tonsillitis in last December.
On Saturday he suffered suffered serious ligament damage above his left ankle & following a scan today it was decided that he will undergo surgery this week.
This latest bad luck comes at a time when he had just installed himself firmly as a first choice defender. Bad luck indeed. Depending on his rate of recovery he may miss pre-season training when it commencess next July.
Tim is pictured here during Kilmarnock’s game against Hearts earlier this month.
