Elvis Presley showed his true colours in the Bounty Bar this evening when he turned out to support the Club’s Schoolboys in a great night of entertainment before a large crown of Club supporters. Bobby Connell assistant manger of the Club’s U13B league leading side, was the organiser in chief of tonight’s event which proved to be a great success for the Club as Elvis trotted out all of his hits to an enthusiastic crown of fans.
The Chairman of Trim Town Council Cllr. Ray Butler was in attendance on the night to supervise the raffle for a number of very fine prizes & he also demonstrated his skills as an auctioneer in disposing of a number of valuable lots donated by Club supporters for the night.
Appreciation is due to the many people who sponsored prizes in the raffle, to Billy Wilson of the Bounty Bar & to everyone who turned up to make the night such a successful fundraiser for the Club.
Well done to all of the officials of the Schoolboy Club on a most successful & enjoyable night out.
