Club Schoolboy teams enjoyed mixed fortunes today in the six games played the local NECSL leagues.

The U13’s travelled to Athboy and were pegged back from a three lead only to win 5-3 thank to a strong finish. On target were Dean Courtney 3 & Fergus Mulryan 2.Nick Nally’s 14’s hit nine goals without reply away to Torro.The marksmen were Donal Callen 3, Sean McGee 2, Sam Millen 2, Fionn Nally & Rian Wogan.John Marron & Brendan McGrenra took the U15’s to play league champions Carrick Rovers in Carrick and came home with a very creditable 1-1 draw thanks to a strike by Lewis Dowling.The 11B’s suffered a heavy defeat 0-13 away to Kingscourt Harps in Kingscourt.The U12A’s defeated visitors Torro Utd 9-1 at Tully Park this afternoon. The goalscorers were Peter Gavin 3, Pierre Fox 2 (1 pen), James Cullen 2, Ciaran Harte & Kyle Dixon.
