Paul Gilsenan’s second goal today – the one that calmed so many nerves in Tully Park, was greeted by an outburst of wild celebrations by all of the Celtic supporters present. What were his feelings as he turned to accept the appreciation of the home fans?
Club Secretary Des Clancy remembers Paul celebrating similarly on many occasions in the past when he scored for the Club’s schoolboys. ‘Paul played from a very young age and always had a great eye for a goal. He was a superb finisher and hit the net so regularly at every age level and this year is no exception. His efforts as leading scorer for the Seniors this season have contributed so much.’
