U16 NECSL League
Result: Kells Boys 1-1 Trim Celtic
Halftime: Kells Boys 1-0 Trim Celtic
Scorers for Trim: Micky Reilly

Trim Celtic U16s came away with a point in Kells on Saturday with a goal in the last 10 minutes from Micky Reilly in his first game for Celtic.  Trim had the better of the first half but were unable to punish the home defence.  Thomas Noone had the best chance when he chipped the Kells keeper just inches over the bar.  Kells then broke clear and went 1-0 up against the run of play.  In the 2nd half, Celtic pushed forward but just couldn’t put the ball away.  Manager Robert Bradley pushed his centre halves, Jamie Lee and Micky Reilly, into the middle of the field and it paid off with Reilly firing a shot from 20 yards to earn a point for Trim who did not deserve to lose.  Best for Trim were Micky Reilly, Jamie Lee and Leon Kelly.
