Reserves on Cup Trail Again

The Club’s Reserve Team has now gone twelve games unbeated in the MDL Reserve Cup after today’s fine 4-1 win away to Newtown United this afternoon.

Having won the trophy in the last two years this was their opener in this year’s competition & they enjoyed a very good outing in a keenly fought game. Mark McCormack hit a brace & the other goals were scored by Alan McCormack (pictured) & Gordon Flood. The game was tied 1-1 at the break.

Could the team become the first to win the Reserve Cup three times in succession?
