Trim Celtic progressed into the semi-final of the Cup with an impressive win over Kingscourt. Celtic led by a Donal Loughlin goal at halftime with Rory McEntee, Adam Whelan, Eoin Hanson and Stephen Moriarty adding goals in the second half. Best for Trim Celtic were Michael Lydon, Adam Whelan, Rory McEntee, and Darragh Kennedy

This very impressive win took Celtic to the top of the table with one game remaining. Celtic dominated from start to finish and but for some missed chances could have been well ahead at halftime. However the goals flowed in the second half with Adam Whelan bagging a hattrick, Donal Loughlin a brace and Darragh Kennedy getting the other. Best for Trim Celtic were Adam Whelan, Darragh Kennedy and Donal Loughlin

Trim Celtic scorers: Adam Whelan 2, Donal Louhlin 2, Stephen Moriarty
Trim Celtic led by two Adam Whelan goals at halftime without playing particularly well. Stephen Moriarty and Donal Loughlin sprung from the bench in the second half to score thee between them,  two for Loughlin and one for Moriarty who later sustained an injury and had to be replaced. Eoin Hanson also found the net with a free kick in an easy win. Best for Trim Celtic were David Tobin, Adam Whelan and Patrick Scanlon

Trim Celtic scorers: Donal Loughlin 2, Stephen Moriarty 2
This was a thrilling cup tie which was full of excitement until the final minute of extra time when Donal Loughlin’s goal clinched victory. The first half ended scoreless as Trim were unable to deal with the Athboy offside trap.  However the introduction of Donal Loughlin and Stephen Moriarty cnaged all that as they repeatedely got behind the Athboy defence. Donal Loughlin opened the scoring five minutes into the second half with Athboy equalising shortly afterwards. Moriarty restored Celtic’s lead but with five minutes remaining Athboy scrambled home an equaliser.
Ahboy took the lead three minutes into extra time but goald from Moriarty and Loughlin in the second period sealed a memorable victory.
Best for Trim Celtic were David Tobin, Mark Hibbits, Stephen Moriarty and Donal Loughlin

Despite dominating the first half Celtic found themselves trainling 2 – 1 at the break from two long range free kicks that were not cleared with Adam Whelan on target for Celtic. Celtic equalised in the second half through David Tobin and had three further goals ruled off for offside. Best for Trim Celtic were Mark Hibitts, David Tobin and Eoin Hanson.

Trim Celtic scorer: Adam Whelan
Trim Celtic missed a great chance to take the lead within five minutes but spurned a one on one chance. The first half was even but Baldoyle went into the break one up.
After ten minutes of the second half Trim conceded a second and as their heads dropped conceded three more before Adam Whelan pulled a goal back. Best for Trim Celtic were Timmy Smith, Mark Hibbits and Adam Whelan.

Trim Celtic were disappointed not to have taken all three points in this high scoring game.  Celtic led 2 – 0 at halftime with goals from Eoin Hanson and Donal Loughlin. A spirited fightback saw Agher pull a goal back from a free kick before equalising. Eoin Hanson restored Celtic’s lead on for it to be cancelled out from a corner. Donal Loughlin put Celtic 4 – 3 up but again Agher equalised with five minutes remaining. Best for Trim Celtic were Adam Whelan, Donal Loughlin, Eoin Hanson.

Missing some regulr players Trim Celtic were behind as early as the second minute and were two down at the break. A goal midway through the second half from Stephen Moriarty got Trim Celtic going and Eoin Hanson and Adam Whelan added further goals to seal a fine victory. Best for Trim Celtic were Mark Hibbits, Adam Whelan and David Tobin

This was a wonderful performance as Trim played some great football and dominated the game. The score would have been a lot higher had the post not denied Celtic on five occasions. Darragh Kennedy way red for two bookable offences. All eleven played well but Mark Hibbits, Adam Whelan and Rory 
McEntee were outstanding.

In a very competitive game Martin Whelan gave Trim Celtic the lead, but Athboy equalised two minutes later after some sloppy defending. Trim tired in the second half but the result was still in doubt until the final minutes.
Best for Trim Celtic were Rory McEntee, Mark Hibbits, Darragh Kennedy and Donal Loughlin.
