The Club Ladies Team, significantly weakened by injuries and absentees was heavily beaten 0-6 by Monaghan Utd in Monaghan tonight at the semi-final stage of the DWL Intermediate Shield. Although they defeated the same opposition twice in League games recently the result was never in doubt. Celtic travelled with only 11 players and Manager Robert Bradley was philosophical afterwards saying that his main ambition all season was to win the League and he will be hoping to take a vital step towards that prize next monday night when Drogheda Utd visit Tully Park. Drogheda were the only team to beat Celtic in the League so far.
